Bonsai (101 Essential Tips)

Most were priced at twenty dollars or more and I just didn't want to spend that much for something I was just getting into. Unfortunately, that means that this book won't be very helpful. I have a number of other books I use as references, however despite the fact that they are much larger they don't seem proportionately more thorough! I am giving it four stars because of its beautiful design and its wonderful simplicity. The one thing missing from this volume is a glossary for common terms, but overall, the nuggets of helpful information presented here are a great value for their price. I would assume anyone buying this book would have some sort of interest in bonsai and have already done a little preliminary research. There was a fair amount of attention given to root trimming and care.
