It has a very soothing lullaby rhythm to it that makes it perfect for bedtime reading, though of course I'll happily read it whenever they bring it to me to read. It's time for bed, little goose, little goose, The stars are out and on the loose. Most of the other animals say something that makes sense after they tell their little ones to go to sleep: stars are out, everyone is sleeping, i'll give you the last kiss etc. White can be the perfect base for any bedroom design. If I could give 10 stars I would! Then, some of the rhymes are lazy and make no sense at all: time to sleep, little calf, little calf what happened today that made you laugh? Being vegetarian, the gentle eyes of that precious calf warm my heart. Oh this book is such a delight.
